Water Rippler is manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for long-lasting durability and resistance to cracking, UV exposure, and water damage.
The solar option of the Water Rippler comes with a 6 foot power cord, 12vdc 50-watt pump, a 15 foot solar adapter cord with 1/4” ring terminals to attach to customer supplied 12volt DC battery and solar panels.
The unit is shipped with a filter attached to the pump to keep debris from clogging the pump or the ports. You’ll receive four caps with holes for maximum water velocity. If you want to redirect water movement in a smaller tank, we include two blank caps that can replace two of the high velocity caps.
Before You Order – Important Solar Requirements
Please ensure you have adequate battery capacity and solar panels to reliably power the Water Rippler in your environment. The unit operates with a 12V DC, 50‑watt pump, which requires consistent energy supply.
Keep in mind that solar charging efficiency can be affected by:
- Seasonal daylight hours (shorter winter days reduce charging time)
- Weather conditions (cloud cover, snow, or heavy storms limit solar input)
- Geographic location (northern regions receive less direct sunlight in winter)
- Panel placement and angle (shading or improper tilt reduces output)
- Battery health and storage capacity (older or undersized batteries may not hold enough charge)

Benefits of the Water Rippler
Effective
Because the Water Rippler moves the water across the entire surface of the stock tank, it is very effective. It works in much the same way as a river does, keeping water moving slows ice formation and prevents mosquitoes from laying their larvae on the moving water.
Muti-Season Use
Water Rippler keeps water fresh and available in water tanks for livestock and horses by mitigating ice in the winter and managing insects and algae in the summer.
Easy Setup
Your Water Rippler comes pre-assembled and allows for two power variations. At checkout, select if you'd like your Water Rippler to run on an AC/DC converter plugged into an electrical outlet or with a battery attached to a solar panel (battery and solar panel not provided).
Caring for your Water Rippler is simple. The pump must have water to run, so please keep a minimum depth of 12” of water in your stock tank. If the pump does not seem to be operating with optimal pressure, verify the screen is not clogged with debris, if it is, gently move the entire unit through the water to gently clean the debris from the screen.
